母親，是世界上最神圣的字眼，它包含了最偉大的愛。“慈母手中線，游子身上衣”可能也是我們最熟悉的詩句了。今天，就讓我們借一首小詩，獻(xiàn)上對母親深深的愛吧!

You are not my birth mom - My real Mom wasn't you.

But You are oh so special - and the loving things you do

Make me feel so valuable - You cheer me up when I'm sad.

And If you were my Real Mom I know I would be glad.

Birth：表示“出世、誕生”等意思，比如，The birth of a child(小孩的出生)。在這里，birth表示“身世、出身”，You are not my birth mom就是“您(雖)不是我的親生母親”的意思。另外還有birth brothers and sisters就表示“同胞兄弟姐妹”的意思。

Cheer up：表示“使……振作起來”的意思，它的同義詞是buck up。如果你想安慰傷心的朋友，就可以說 Cheer up! The news is not so bad.(振作一點(diǎn)吧，也不是什么太壞的消 息)。這句話可是很頂用的呵!

Moms are special people. They are loved and needed so.

I Love you just as much As If you were My very own!

On loan：on loan的本意是“借來的”。哇!借來的媽媽!你聽說過嗎?開個(gè)小玩笑，在這里on loan其實(shí)表示“非親生的”的意思。
