【Transcript】
One old person complained to the doctor that his right ear was giving him trouble; he couldn’t hear.
So the doctor checked, checked, checked, listened, listened and said,
“Oh, you know your ear trouble is an old age problem. Your ear is getting old. That’s why you can’t hear.”
So the patient said with a bad attitude, “Nonsense, the left ear is just as old.”
【注】complain v. 抱怨
有個(gè)老人向醫(yī)生抱怨右耳有問(wèn)題,聽(tīng)不見(jiàn)。
醫(yī)生檢查又檢查、聽(tīng)了又聽(tīng),然后說(shuō):“哦!你知道嗎?你耳朵有毛病是因?yàn)槟昀系年P(guān)系,你的右耳已經(jīng)老化了,所以才聽(tīng)不到。”
病人態(tài)度粗魯?shù)卣f(shuō)道:“胡說(shuō)!我的左耳也一樣老呀!”
