一、引導(dǎo)條件狀語從句的從屬連詞

1.if，unless

（1）if表示正面的條件，意為“如果”。

If he works hard，he will surely succeed.如果努力工作，他肯定會成功。

If it rains tomorrow，they’ll not go.如果明天下雨，他們就不去了。

Do you mind if I open the window？ 我開窗你不介意吧？

（2）unless表示反面的條件，意為“如果不，除非”，相當(dāng)于if ...not。

Don’t come unless I telephone.除非我打電話，否則你別來。

They’ll go tomorrow unless it rains.除非明天下雨，否則他們會去的。

They’ll go tomorrow If it doesn’t rain.

2.as/so long as

As/So long as you’re happy，it doesn’t matter what you do.

只要你高興，你做什么都沒關(guān)系。

I’ll remember that day as long as I live.只要我活著，我就不會忘記那個日子。

3.on condition that

I shall give you the book on condition that you return it no later than tomorrow.

只要你決不遲于明天還給我這本書，我就將這本書借給你。

4.in case

（1）in case連詞，表示條件，意為“如果”“萬一”。

Take your umbrella （just）in case it rains.帶上雨傘，以防下雨。

In case you see him，ask him about it.如果你見著他，問問他這事。

（2）in case of介詞短語，意為“假如”“萬一”。

Put on the button，in case of fire.（假如）發(fā)生火災(zāi)，按此按鈕。

（3）in case 副詞，意為“以防萬一”。

You’d better carry some money in case.你最好帶些錢，以防萬一。

【提示】 條件狀語從句中要遵循“主將從現(xiàn)”原則。

If it rains tomorrow，I’ll stay at home.明天要是下雨的話，我就呆在家里。
