四、形容詞的“不及”比較

1.less+原級+than

Helen is less busy than Mary.海倫不像瑪麗那樣忙。

Ruby is less valuable than diamond.紅寶石不如金剛石貴重。

2.no less than ……那樣多；與……沒差別

We walked no less than three miles.我們走了 3 英里之遠。

【比較】

①He has no less than five children.他有5個孩子之多。（no less than 多達）

②He had not less than five children.他至少有5個孩子。（not less than 至少）

3.no less ...than 與……一樣，不比……差

It is no less than robbery to ask for so much.要這么多，簡直跟搶劫沒兩樣。

He is no less wise than you.他跟你一樣聰明。

A dolphin is no less a clever animal than a dog is.海豚與狗一樣都是聰明的動物。

He is no less busy than a bee.他像蜜蜂一樣忙。
