二、年齡的表達

1.基數詞表示年齡

My son is twenty-one.我兒子21歲了。

Her daughter is eighteen.她的女兒18歲。

2.基數詞+years old/years of age

Her daughter is eighteen years old.她的女兒18歲。

her daughter is eighteen years of age.

3.at the age of+基數詞

My son is at the age of twenty-one.我兒子21歲了。

Her daughter got married at the age of twenty eight.她的女兒28歲結的婚。

4.合成詞“基數詞+year+old”

My 21-year-old son was in the army.我21歲的兒子入伍了。

Her 18-year-old daughter is now in the university.她18歲的女兒正在上大學。

【提示】 合成形容詞中名詞不用復數，如這里的year就用單數形式。

5.of+基數詞

My son is a soldier of twenty-one.我兒子是一個21歲的士兵。

Her daughter is now a pretty girl of 18.她女兒現在是一個18歲的美少女了。

6.aged+基數詞

I have a daughter aged 13.我有一個13歲的女兒。

Lying on the floor was a boy aged about seventeen.

躺在地板上的是一個約莫17歲的男孩。
