　　B: He skipped ahead one grade and is now in the 6th grade.

　　A: Does he like to go to school?

　　A: 他喜歡上學(xué)嗎?

　　B: Not now. I had a talk with his teacher at the PTA meeting and found out that he is tired andsick of study.

　　B: 現(xiàn)在不喜歡了。家長(zhǎng)會(huì)上我和他老師談了談，發(fā)現(xiàn)他現(xiàn)在非常厭學(xué)。

　　B: He felt he is under great pressure. He would rather stay seated in the classroom for thebreak than go out to play with his classmates.

　　A: Frankly speaking. I think you and your wife have been short-sighted. You can't see thewoods for the trees.

　　A: How come you make out so well in your classes?

　　B: Who? Me? You're kidding! I fool around, too.

　　A: Come on, Bill. Confess.

　　A: 說(shuō)吧，比爾，老實(shí)交代吧。

　　B: I don't know. I just listen carefully to what the teacher says, do my homework, and studyhard. And so I guess that's all I have to do.

　　B: 我也不知道怎么回事。我只是聽(tīng)老師講課，做作業(yè)，用功學(xué)習(xí)。我想我就做了這些。

　　A: Maybe you are right, Bill. I know you always pay attention in class whenever I see you.

　　A: 也許你說(shuō)得對(duì)，比爾。我知道你在上課時(shí)聽(tīng)講很認(rèn)真，每次我看到你都是這樣專心。
