中國人最易誤解的話第18期:滿眼的胡言亂語

　　Her opinion is all my eye.

　　(誤譯)她的主張也完全是我的觀點。

　　(正譯)她的主張是胡說八道。

　　all my eye是英國俚語，意為“胡說八道”，“瞎說”，“鬼話”等。應(yīng)注意把all my eye與all eyes區(qū)分開來，后者意為“全神貫注地看”。

　　1. nonsense

　　int. 胡說!talk nonsense 胡說八道 sheer nonsense 一派胡言

　　n.胡說;廢話 bullshit, kibosh

　　adj.荒謬的 ridiculous, preposterous

　　Nonsense is normal in the Library.

　　荒謬是圖書館的普遍現(xiàn)象。

　　We do not have time for this kind of nonsense.

　　我們沒有時間浪費在這種無聊的事上面。

　　Save the Earth, can you? Nonsense! It is training!

　　2. stuff and nonsense 胡說八道

　　That's stuff and nonsense; of course I can juggle with three balls at once!

　　那完全是胡說八道，當(dāng)然我能同時耍3個球!

　　“我要帶安杰利科去看女巫住的地方。”我說。“胡言亂語!”拉利說道。
