Giving red packets is an important custom during the Spring Festival in China. The red packets which the adults give their children usually mean "Growing up healthily". Children can get red packets from their parents, grandparents or relatives.
However, nowadays, with the development of human society. Science has made great advances during the last twenty years. The way to give red packets has changed a lot. And this change made people besides children get red packets during the Spring Festival, even exchange red packets each other.
The Spring Festival of 2015, was special and exciting. "Grabbing red packets" was the hottest activity in the Spring Festival. Wherever on the Wechat, the Tencent or on TV, people can grab red packets by their mobile phones. People grabbed red packets when they were on their bed, on the sofa, even when they were at table. They stared at their mobile phone screen, and clicked it continuously. So they forgot their family and the real meaning of the Spring Festival.
In my opinion, grabbing red packets by phones is interesting and convenient. But we should realize how important our family is! We should spend more time with them. Don’t replace the family reunion with "Grabbing red packets."
For this reason, it’s time to lay down our mobile phones. To communicate with our family face to face, to feel the warm atmosphere of the Spring Festival.
