Every year in all kinds of different countries around the world, a small number of people win huge prizes in lotteries(彩票). People are always dreaming of winning millions of dollars overnight(一夜間) in a lottery .

People often wonder what they would do if they won one of these large sums of money .They have many different ideas.

Some people say they would give it away to charities(慈善機(jī)構(gòu)). Others say they would give most of it to their families. Some people just list all the things they would buy.

One evening three friends were talking about what they would do if they won millions of dollars.

"What would you do," the first man asked the other two, "If you woke up one morning and discovered you had won fifty million dollars?"

His two friends thought for a few moments, then one of them said,"? I'd buy the biggest house in the world; or maybe I'd buy several houses in different parts of the world so I could go live anywhere I like. They would all have to have wonderful views, of course. And I'd employ hundreds of servants to look after me and take care of all my beautiful gardens."

The other said, "I'd spend my life traveling around the world. I'd go to Africa, North and South America, all over Europe and anywhere else I wanted .I'd stay at the best hotels. I'd eat only the most expensive food and wear the finest clothes."

The two men turned to their friend who had asked the question." And what about you? What would you do if you woke up one morning to discover you had won fifty million dollars?"

The man laughed.

"Oh, I'm a greedy(貪心的) person. I'd go back to sleep and try to win another fifty million," he said.

世界各國每年總有一些人在彩票上贏得大量錢財(cái)。人們總是夢想能在彩票上一夜間成為百萬富翁。

人們總是想如果他們贏得大量錢財(cái)后會(huì)做什么。他們有許多想法。

一些人說他們將把錢捐獻(xiàn)給慈善機(jī)構(gòu)，另一些人說他們將把錢給他們家庭，還有一些人把他們想買的東西都列了出來。

一天晚上,三個(gè)朋友在討論如果他們在彩票上發(fā)財(cái)后會(huì)做什么.

“你會(huì)怎么做，”第一個(gè)人問其他兩個(gè)人，“如果你一天早上醒來發(fā)現(xiàn)你贏得了五千萬美元？”

他的兩個(gè)朋友想了一會(huì)兒，然后其中一個(gè)朋友說：“我要在世界上買最大的房子，或者我會(huì)在世界上的幾個(gè)不同地方買幾幢房子，這樣我可以住在想住的任何地方。當(dāng)然這些房子必須要有優(yōu)美的風(fēng)景，并且我要雇幾百個(gè)仆人來照料我，來管理我所下美麗的花園。”

另一個(gè)朋友說：“我要花費(fèi)我終生的時(shí)間在全世界旅行。南北美洲，全歐洲和其它任何我想去的地方。我想住最好的旅館，吃最貴的食物，穿最好的衣物。”

那兩個(gè)人接著轉(zhuǎn)向那個(gè)問他們問題的朋友，“那你呢？如果你一覺醒來發(fā)現(xiàn)你贏得五千萬美元，你會(huì)做什么？”

那個(gè)人笑了。

“噢，我是個(gè)貪心的人，我會(huì)倒頭再睡，從而贏取另一個(gè)五千萬。”他說。
