1) Fritz: slang word for something that is broken or not working properly

2) Help Desk: a department in a company that can help you with any computer or printing problems

ex:The help desk staff in our company are always stressed out because the computers are old.

3) Bug: a problem with a computer or computer software

4) GIGO: Garbage In, Garbage Out. This is an old saying in computer programming. Computers can only do what you tell them and if you tell them the wrong thing, they will do the wrong thing.

The personal computer is one of the greatest tools ever invented by man and almost everyone in a company these days will need to be able to use one to do their job properly. Because computers are so important and expensive, most companies have policies about their use.

If the company gives you a password for your computer, you should not write it down on a piece of paper. Try to remember it instead.

If you can choose you own password, don't choose something that others could guess easily such as your name or birth date. Try to remember to change your password every month.
