節(jié)日前面用什么介詞，按英語語法，節(jié)日之前的介詞用法有四種:

1）談到圣誕節(jié)、新年、復活節(jié)和感恩節(jié)，如指整個節(jié)日，就用at。如：

We often go carolling at Christmas. 我們在圣誕節(jié)常去唱頌歌。

We’re having the roof repaired at Easter. 我們要在復活節(jié)期間找人把房頂修一修。

Some children make lanterns out of pumpkins at Hallowe’en. 有些兒童在萬圣節(jié)前夕用南瓜做燈籠。

2）但如果指節(jié)日中的某一天，就用on。如：

Come and see us on Christmas Day. 圣誕節(jié)那一天來玩兒吧。

What are you doing on Easter Monday? 復活節(jié)第二天你干什么?

3）表示周末時，英國人說at the weekend，而美國人則說on the weekend。如：

What did you do at the weekend? 你周末干什么了?

He likes to go climbing at weekends. 他喜歡在周末做登山運動。

They like to go ballooning at weekends. 他們周末喜歡乘氣球玩。

4）當然，若強調是在整個期間，也可用during等。如：

Five thousand people were flown to Paris during the Easter weekend. 在復活節(jié)的周末有五千人乘飛機去巴黎。
