　　1.apathetic a. 缺乏興趣的，淡漠的

　　A: The children have lost hype and become apathetic.

　　甲:孩子們都失去了希望，興趣索然。

　　B: Have you tried to arouse their interest in study?

　　乙:你沒(méi)想辦法激發(fā)起他們對(duì)學(xué)習(xí)的興趣嗎?

　　2.be one's cup of term 合……的胃口

　　A: Beijing Opera is not my cup of tea.

　　甲:我對(duì)京劇不“感冒”。

　　B: It's not mine either.

　　乙:我也如此。

　　3.boring a. 令人厭煩的

　　A: I love playing football very much.

　　甲:我很喜歡踢足球。

　　B: I think it's boring.

　　乙:而我卻覺(jué)得這個(gè)很無(wú)聊。

　　4.concern n. 關(guān)心，與……有關(guān)

　　A: The depletion of the ozone layer isn't causing any widespread concern among the government officials.

　　甲:臭氧層的破壞并沒(méi)有在政府官員中引起廣泛的關(guān)注。

　　B: Maybe they're ignorant of any possible consequence of it. They never consider anything that doesn't concern them.

　　B: I don't go for it, either.

　　8.make no difference 沒(méi)有關(guān)系，不重要

　　A: Do you think he'll win the match?

　　B: It doesn't make any difference to me whether he wins ar not.

　　A: The teacher's not satisfied with your assignment.

　　B: What does that matter!

　　10.mind v. 介意，在乎

　　A : He's so rude to you. Why didn't you teach him a lesson?

　　甲:他對(duì)你這樣無(wú)禮。你為什么不教訓(xùn)他一頓?

　　B: I don't mind it.

　　乙:我不介意。

　　11.unconcerned a. 對(duì)……不在意

　　A: Are you angry about what they said against you?

　　甲:你對(duì)他們說(shuō)你的壞話感到很氣憤嗎?

　　B: No, I'm unconcerned about that.

　　乙:不，我對(duì)此不在意。

　　12.So what? 那又怎么樣呢?

　　A: Your room is a read mess.

　　A: The teacher complains your handwriting is very poor.
