　　1.fierce a. 強(qiáng)烈的，兇猛的

　　A: What's the weather like there?

　　甲:那兒的天氣怎么樣?

　　B: It's still raining hard, and the lightning is fierce.

　　乙:還在下雨,電光閃得也很厲害。

　　2.flash n. 閃光

　　A: What a flash of lightning!

　　甲:好一道閃電!

　　B: God，it scared me.

　　乙:天哪，嚇了我一大跳。

　　3.lightning v. 閃電

　　A: what does the weatherman say?

　　甲:天氣預(yù)報(bào)怎么說(shuō)的?

　　B: There will be lightning and thunder.

　　乙:會(huì)雷電交加。

　　4.rolling n. 隆隆聲

　　A: Listen to that rolling of the thunder.

　　甲:聽(tīng)!雷聲隆隆。

　　B: It has been like this for quite some time.

　　乙:這樣已經(jīng)好長(zhǎng)時(shí)間了。

　　5.thunderbolt n. 雷電，霹靂

　　A: Another thunderbolt has fallen.

　　甲:又打雷了。

　　B: It struck the tree!

　　乙:它擊中那裸樹(shù)了!
