A bad hair day的意思是指“不順利的一天”。而且并不是“不順利”這三個(gè)字就能囊括其意思。當(dāng)你盯著一個(gè)糟糕無比的發(fā)型時(shí)，你的心情一定沮喪透頂，所以，a bad hair day還暗指“不順利的經(jīng)歷給受害者的情緒造成了嚴(yán)重的影響或帶來很大的心理壓力”。其英文解釋為：People sometimes say they are having a badhair day when they do not feel very happy or relaxed, especially because their hair does notlook good.
