A: Now, Christian, you're English is amazing. Perfect actually.
 
Christian，你英語說的真好，簡(jiǎn)直太棒了。
 
B: Thank you.
 
謝謝。
 
A: And many people from Norway have excellent English. What is the secret about Norway?
 
很多來自挪威的人英語都很棒。到底是有什么秘訣呢？
 
B: I don't know. I actually heard that before that I meet a lot of people and they say,"Oh, you're from Norway.
 
我不知道。只是之前，我碰到很多人的時(shí)候他們都會(huì)說，“哦，你來自挪威。”
 
Norwegian people speak such good English. Why is that?"
 
挪威人能說得一口流利的英文。這是為什么呢？
 
Personally I think it's because we get a lot of exposure to English, through TV, music, media, everything, and we don't dub movies and TV programs like they do in many other countries.
 
我個(gè)人覺得是因?yàn)槲覀兩L在英語的大環(huán)境下，電視，音樂，媒體，一切的一切都是英文的，而且不同于其他國家，電影以及電視節(jié)目都是沒有配音的。
 
We get subtitles. And the same with music. English music is very, very popular.
 
我們有字幕。音樂也是一樣的。英文歌也是非常流行的。
 
Probably more popular that Norwegian music, and I guess as well the education system provides us with really good, you know, teaching so, I mean all those combined together, you know, creates, how to say.
 
也許更出名的是挪威樂曲，而且我想校方也提供了相當(dāng)棒的音樂課，所以我的意思是，所有的這些加起來就造就了我們。恩怎么說呢，你知道的。
 
A: Super speakers!

B: I don't know super speakers. It's a good combination, I guess in term of learning the language, so, you know, and a lot of Norwegians travel as well and they have time to practice as well, which is important if you want to speak English well.
 
我不知道什么一流演說家。但這是個(gè)很好的融合，我想，單是從學(xué)語言方面考慮，很多挪威人出去旅游，同時(shí)會(huì)有更多的時(shí)間說英語，練習(xí)英語。如果你想學(xué)好英語這一點(diǎn)是很重要的。
 
A: Sure, well, how difficult is it to learn Norwegian?
 
當(dāng)然，那學(xué)習(xí)挪威語會(huì)有多難呢？
 
B: That is probably more difficult that English, I'd say, but it's interesting I have a private Japanese student at the moment and he went to Norway on exchange from his university here in Japan
 
我不得不說那可能會(huì)比英語更難，但有趣的是我現(xiàn)在有個(gè)日本學(xué)生，他從他學(xué)校來挪威做交換生。
 
and he didn't speak a word of Norwegian before he went but he spent the year there, and he now can have a decent conversation with me in Norwegian.
 
而且他來之前不會(huì)說一句挪威語但他在這兒呆了幾年，現(xiàn)在跟很熟練地跟我用挪威語對(duì)話了。
 
That's three years ago since he went there, but still he speaks pretty well.
 
他來這兒才三年，但挪威語仍然講得很好。
