來(lái)聽(tīng)今天的講解：

Molly: How are you doing?

莫莉：你還好嗎?

Gordon: Same old, same old, and how about yourself?

戈登：老樣子，老樣子，你呢?

Molly: Wonderful, I am head over heels in love with my visa officer.

莫莉：很好，我正瘋狂地癡迷于我的簽證官。

Gordon: I guess you got the visa to go abroad, right?

戈登：我猜你一定是獲得了出國(guó)的簽證，是嗎?

Molly: You bet. And I have saved enough about two thousand USD to buy a used car once I am there. I love to drive.

莫莉：你說(shuō)的沒(méi)錯(cuò)。我已經(jīng)攢了大約2000美元，一到那兒的我就打算買(mǎi)一輛二手車(chē)。我太愛(ài)駕車(chē)了。

Gordon: Driving abroad is cool, but there are many strict rules.

Molly: What do you mean by strict?

莫莉：你說(shuō)的嚴(yán)格的交通規(guī)則是什么意思?

Gordon: Some culture dictates that traffic laws must be obeyed to the letter of the law. The police and the culture is strict about this. That means everyone must work together to be safe.

戈登：西方文化規(guī)定，交通規(guī)則必須嚴(yán)格遵守法律條文，西方的警察和文化都嚴(yán)格遵守這一點(diǎn)，這樣說(shuō)的意思是大家都要共同遵守交通規(guī)則，以便安全行駛。

Molly: No problem, I am very obedient. Can you tell me which traffic laws are stricter than other?

莫莉：沒(méi)問(wèn)題，我是守法公民。你能告訴我哪一條交通規(guī)則更嚴(yán)格嗎?

Gordon: Anything for you, we have time to discuss a few, however, it is best to obey all the laws to the letter.

戈登：愿為您效勞，我們還有時(shí)間來(lái)討論一些，但是，最好遵守任何成文的條例或規(guī)定。
