L: Hurry up! We can have a bird's view of the city from the top.
C: Wonderful! I am completely blown away by the scenery.

在I'd love to go home這個(gè)句子中,love to不讀作/l?vt?/,而是/l?ft?/。這是因?yàn)樵谶@兩個(gè)詞中出現(xiàn)了同化現(xiàn)象。當(dāng)濁擦音后面緊跟著清輔音時(shí),這個(gè)濁擦音就要變?yōu)橄鄬?duì)應(yīng)的清擦膏,即/v/就變?yōu)?f/,love to讀作/l?ft?/。類似的情況還有:
