NEAR ACCIDENT

laurance--How about that?
soony--What?What happened?
laurance--Did you see what that guy did?
soony--No.I was looking the other way.
laurance--He made a U-turn right in the middle
          of the block and almost hit a kid on
          a bicycle.
soony--Drivers get crazier every day!
laurance--Right.Nobody wants to drive by the rules
          anymore.

注解:
How about that:這是對(duì)后果難預(yù)料的行為、動(dòng)作所發(fā)出的驚嘆.
the other way:相反的方向
U-turn:即三百六十度的調(diào)頭.左轉(zhuǎn)彎叫l(wèi)eft-turn,右轉(zhuǎn)彎叫日right-turn.
       注意搭配的動(dòng)詞是make.
