例句-1:I've been exceptionally good with my budget this month. Even with the surprise repair on my car, it looks like I'll be able to pay all my bills. And I'll still have some cash left over. I'm not used to having money to spare. Should I spend it on a new guitar or put it in my savings account?
要是我,我會(huì)把錢存在銀行,save for a rainy day - 以備不時(shí)之需!
例句-2:Our plane took off late because of a severe thunderstorm. That meant we risked not making our connecting flight. Upon landing, we realized there was no time to have lunch. We had to start running to our gate, which was at the other end of the airport. Without a minute to spare, we got there just as they closed the door. Whew!
