世博香港館：創(chuàng)意無限，變廢為寶

Hong Kong Design Institute students and teachers have transformed a humble plastic light into a glittering masterpiece which will go on display at World Expo 2010 in Shanghai.

Featuring 200 red lightshades, Infinite Constellation has been installed in the atrium of the Hong Kong Pavilion, which overlooks the main concourse of the China Pavilion zone.

It will look particularly impressive at night when the mirrored walls of the atrium create multiple reflections of the lights, giving it an infinite dimension.

日前，香港知專設(shè)計(jì)學(xué)院的師生運(yùn)用平凡的塑料燈罩，設(shè)計(jì)出名為“光耀無限”的藝術(shù)裝置，將被吊掛于上海世博會(huì)香港館的顯著位置，向全球觀眾展示。

這個(gè)名為“光耀無限”的藝術(shù)裝置安放在香港館首層展區(qū)上方，世博會(huì)期間，每天經(jīng)過香港館的數(shù)以萬計(jì)的觀眾，都會(huì)清楚地看到這個(gè)照明藝術(shù)品。入夜后，藝術(shù)品會(huì)更加光彩耀眼，經(jīng)墻壁和天花的玻璃反射出無限光影。

據(jù)香港知專設(shè)計(jì)學(xué)院設(shè)計(jì)系主任盧林教授介紹，這一設(shè)計(jì)的出發(fā)點(diǎn)在于希望用一點(diǎn)創(chuàng)意，把日常用品轉(zhuǎn)化為一件可觀而有意義的藝術(shù)作品。裝置采用的紅色燈罩，常見于香港街市售賣鮮肉和雞蛋的攤檔，俗稱“雞蛋燈”。參與創(chuàng)作的學(xué)生錢尚表示，這種燈罩是第1代“香港制造”產(chǎn)品的代表，設(shè)計(jì)于20世紀(jì)60年代，至今仍在生產(chǎn)及使用，采用這種燈罩旨在顯示香港既堅(jiān)守傳統(tǒng)而又富有創(chuàng)意。設(shè)計(jì)者用了約200個(gè)燈罩來創(chuàng)作這個(gè)奪目的裝置，為香港館提供一個(gè)吸引無數(shù)參觀者的聚焦點(diǎn)。
