It isn't hard to grow up into a responsible member of the society.

I can well remember an incident that happened on a rainy Sundayafternoon. I was on my way to the bookstore and was waiting for the green lightat a crossing when a girl of about ten was knocked down by a passing car, whichdrove off quickly. A man immediately rushed to the girl to give her first aidand I joined in without hesitation. Luckily she was not badly injured and wesent her to the nearest hospital. Compared with the escaped driver, I am proudof what I did.

As a member of the society, I am aware that being responsible is what ittakes to make a better society.

成長為對社會負(fù)責(zé)任的一員并不難。

我清楚地記得發(fā)生在一個下雨的星期天下午的一件事。我在去書店的路上，在十字路口等綠燈時，一個大約10歲的女孩被一輛過路的汽車撞倒，汽車很快就開走了。一名男子立即跑過去對女孩進(jìn)行急救，我毫不猶豫地加入了她的急救行列。幸運(yùn)的是，她傷得不重，我們把她送到了最近的醫(yī)院。與那個逃跑的司機(jī)相比，我對我所做的事感到自豪。

作為社會的一員，我意識到負(fù)責(zé)任是讓社會更美好的必要條件。
