It is the trend that computers are becoming a necessity in people's work．From the figures shown in the data chart above，it is evident that over half of the workers use the computer at their jobs in all age groups，among which the workers ranging in age from 18 to 29 have a percentage of 71% while workers over 65 years old account for 54%．

There's no doubt that from the data，the percentages of the workers who use the computer at their jobs decline with the rise in age．The reasons for the phenomenon are obvious．First and foremost，younger people have a heavier burden of tasks than older people，thus resulting in their more frequent use of the computer．What's more，with better eyesight and swifter fingers，they are more likely to choose computers to accomplish their assignments．Last but not least，modern technology has changed younger people's lifestyle more，which adapts them to the use of computers in the aspects of communication and information searching．

In a nutshell，the computer is now having a greater and deeper influence on the way people do their jobs．
