A: This letter says I’ve won a thousand dollars. There must be some mistake!
這封信說(shuō)我贏了一千美元，一定是哪兒出錯(cuò)了吧。
B: There is no mistake about it. You were the winner of a special lucky drawing.
一點(diǎn)沒(méi)錯(cuò)，你是一次特別抽獎(jiǎng)的幸運(yùn)兒。

A: I can’t believe I made such a stupid mistake.
我真不敢相信我犯了這么一個(gè)愚蠢的錯(cuò)誤。
B: Forget it! It’s not that serious.
算了吧！沒(méi)那么嚴(yán)重。

A: It is a mistake to trust him.

Kim’s Note: “I made a mistake.” This sentence is so difficult for many native speakers to say. Chinese people don’t like to make mistakes. American people don’t care at all about making mistakes, they just don’t like to admit them.
很多使用英語(yǔ)作母語(yǔ)的人也很難說(shuō)出：“I make a mistake.”這句話。中國(guó)人不喜歡犯錯(cuò)誤。美國(guó)人倒不在乎犯不犯錯(cuò)誤，他們只是不愿意承認(rèn)犯了錯(cuò)誤。
