過(guò)去簡(jiǎn)單式 (V-ed)

過(guò)去發(fā)生的動(dòng)作或狀態(tài)(常與表示過(guò)去的時(shí)間副詞如yesterday, last night, an week ago等搭配使用)

It was cold last night. 昨晚很冷。

Was it cold last night? 昨晚很冷嗎？

Yes, it was/No, it wasn't. 是呀，很冷/不冷。

I was very angry because Tom and Mary were forty minutes late.

我很生氣因?yàn)門(mén)om跟Mary遲到了40分鐘。

Did you eat your breakfast this morning? 早上吃早餐了嗎？

Yes, I did/No, I didn't. 吃了/沒(méi)吃。

I was born and grew up in Taichung. 我在臺(tái)中出生、長(zhǎng)大。
