徐燦，字湘蘋，又字明霞、明深，江蘇吳縣（今蘇州市吳中區(qū)、相城區(qū)）人。陳之遴繼配。幼穎悟，通書史。陳之遴兩次流徙，均曾隨行?？滴跏辏?671），奉旨?xì)w之遴之骨。晚年學(xué)佛，更號(hào)紫?。早年雅好吟詠，尤喜為詞。被詞人陳維崧譽(yù)為南宋后閨秀第一。有《拙政園詩(shī)馀》《拙政園詩(shī)集》。

東風(fēng)老，

起來點(diǎn)檢殘紅少。

殘紅少，

一簾疏雨，

半庭煙草。

燕鶯故故將人惱，

千聲萬(wàn)語(yǔ)春歸了。

春歸了，

雙蛾誰(shuí)遣，

鏡痕愁小。

Xu Can

The east wind is waning;

I rise to survey the few remnant blossoms.

The remnant blossoms are few:

A drape of sparse rain;

Half a courtyard of misty grass.

The swallows and orioles purposely vex one,

Their thousand cries and myriad strains singing “Spring is gone.”

Spring is gone:

Who will unknit the eyebrows,

Their image in the mirror tinged with grief?
