詩詞大意：這簾兒是湘江岸的翠竹加錦絲絳織就，這簾兒是南海中的明珠用紅絨線穿成。無論是在淡月下掩映，還是在清風中立身，它都不沾飛花，隔斷紅塵。它像一片自由的彩云，無牽無掛，能屈能伸，涉歷了多少朝云暮雨，卻不著一點印痕。

錦織江邊翠竹，

絨穿海上明珠。

月淡時，

The portiere’s decorated with pearls from a sea, bright and brilliant.

When the moonlight’s faint,

On the cool breeze land,

It cuts off falling blossoms and dusts on the world from resident land,

Fluttering in the wind freely like a piece of cloud irrelevant,

Witnessing all morning clouds and evening rains in the world grand.
