參差煙柳灞陵橋,
風(fēng)物盡前朝。
衰楊古柳,
幾經(jīng)攀折,

夕陽閑淡秋光老,
離思滿蘅皋。

獨(dú)自憑蘭橈。
High and low mist-veiled trees stand by the rivershore;
The scene still looks like that of dynasties of yore.
The ancient willows fade,
Their twigs oft broken by those friends who part;
They languish like the waist of palace maid.
The setting sun turns pale, autumn’s grown old,
Green grass o’ergrown with parting grief sad to behold.
The farewell song has broken my heart,
But it is heard no more;
Alone I lean upon the orchid oar.
