Sonnets of William Shakespeare-Sonnet 45

　　Are both with thee, wherever I abide;

　　The first my thought, the other my desire,

　　These present-absent with swift motion slide.

　　For when these quicker elements are gone

　　In tender embassy of love to thee,

　　My life, being made of four, with two alone

　　Sinks down to death, oppress'd with melancholy;

　　Until life's composition be recured

　　By those swift messengers return'd from thee,

　　Who even but now come back again, assured

　　Of thy fair health, recounting it to me:

　　This told, I joy; but then no longer glad,

　　I send them back again and straight grow sad.

　　其余兩種，輕清的風(fēng)，凈化的火，

　　一個(gè)是我的思想，一個(gè)是欲望，

　　都是和你一起，無論我居何所;

　　它們又在又不在，神速地來往。

　　因?yàn)?，?dāng)這兩種較輕快的元素

　　帶著愛情的溫柔使命去見你，

　　我的生命，本賦有四大，只守住

　　兩個(gè)，就不勝其憂郁，奄奄待斃;

　　直到生命的結(jié)合得完全恢復(fù)

　　由于這兩個(gè)敏捷使者的來歸。

　　它們現(xiàn)正從你那里回來，欣悉

　　你起居康吉，在向我欣欣告慰。

　　說完了，我樂，可是并不很長久，

　　我打發(fā)它們回去，馬上又發(fā)愁。
