全國(guó)人大常委會(huì)近日表決通過了生物安全法。生物安全法明確，生物安全是國(guó)家安全的重要組成部分，維護(hù)生物安全應(yīng)當(dāng)貫徹總體國(guó)家安全觀。

Lawmakers approved the Biosecurity Law at a regular legislative session of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress. The law stipulates that biosecurity is a key component of national security and a holistic approach to national security should be adopted in safeguarding biosecurity.

我們要加快補(bǔ)齊治理體系的短板弱項(xiàng)，要構(gòu)筑強(qiáng)大的公共衛(wèi)生體系，提升國(guó)家生物安全防御能力。

We should fix weak links in the governance system, and a strong public health system must be built and biosecurity defense capabilities must be enhanced.
