Although the Internet is a virtual space, cyber love can never be an illusion. Meeting and falling in love with a person through the Internet is a popular way of communication in modern society. It deserves to be treated with respect.

網(wǎng)絡(luò)是虛擬的空間，愛(ài)情卻不能永遠(yuǎn)虛擬。通過(guò)網(wǎng)絡(luò)認(rèn)識(shí)一個(gè)人、愛(ài)上一個(gè)人，其實(shí)是現(xiàn)代社會(huì)很流行的一種交友方式，它同樣需要人們真誠(chéng)相待。

It is believed that the traditional love is human action, while online affection is based on an electronic medium. In other words, couples make use of the medium--the Internet to get to know each other. Though sharing the same basic function with the traditional marriage, cyber love still has a big advantage: extending greatly the association scope and the frame of reference, which is called the Marriage Circle in sociology. If the circle is too small, it restricts the evolution of human society. Therefore, the cyber affection has a huge positive effect.

傳統(tǒng)的戀愛(ài)多是通過(guò)人為的方式來(lái)認(rèn)識(shí)對(duì)方，網(wǎng)戀的特殊性在于它是通過(guò)電子媒介，換句話說(shuō)就是情侶們通過(guò)網(wǎng)絡(luò)相識(shí)相知。其根本功能和傳統(tǒng)媒介是一樣的，但它有一個(gè)最大的好處，就是極大地?cái)U(kuò)大了交際范圍和參照系。社會(huì)學(xué)把這個(gè)交際范圍和參照系稱作"婚姻圈"，這個(gè)圈子如果太小的話，不利于整個(gè)人類社會(huì)的進(jìn)化。從這個(gè)意義上說(shuō)，網(wǎng)戀有很大的正面作用。

However, syber love is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, it extends the space to make friends and gives people more opportunities of falling in love; on the other hand, the affection expressed through the virtual space can be false or sometimes insincere. Therefore, some people believe, compared with on-line affection, the traditional matchmakers are more trustworthy, and affection in real life is more stable.

但網(wǎng)戀具有雙面性。一方面它拓展了交際圈，讓人們有更多的戀愛(ài)機(jī)會(huì);另一方面，通過(guò)虛擬空間傳遞的感情更容易造假，或者不真誠(chéng)。因此，也有人認(rèn)為與網(wǎng)戀相比，還是傳統(tǒng)的"媒灼之言"更值得信賴，真實(shí)世界的愛(ài)情更加"保險(xiǎn)" 。
