 bimbo 愛(ài)搭訕的年輕女子，性生活放浪的美女，頭腦空空的美女，妓女；不重要的男人，下賤的及不足掛齒的男人，笨蛋家伙(泛指男性)

Bimbo是貶抑的字眼，自1918-1919年始見(jiàn)于美國(guó)文獻(xiàn)，多指女性，但也偶指男性，bimbette (1982)加了后綴-ette(小也，女也)，是輕薄的戲稱(chēng)。 Bimbo一字在正式社交場(chǎng)所盡量避免使用，仕人淑女尤然。

Bimbo 用以貶抑女性

1. bimbo 沒(méi)有大腦的美女

A. Calling a woman a “slut”or“bimbo” is a common tactic that belittles individual women by making them the butt of sexual jokes.

以“蕩婦”或“頭腦空空的美人”稱(chēng)呼女人，是把個(gè)別女人當(dāng)做黃色笑話對(duì)象貶辱之的常用策略。

1. 形容文中bimbo的字眼有“l(fā)oose”(淫蕩的)，“trashy”(無(wú)用的，垃圾般的)，“sleazy”(舉止隨便的)，及“promiscuous” (亂來(lái)的)。另見(jiàn)“a woman who uses her sexuality for manipulative ends”(利用性感以達(dá)希冀目的之女郎)。

2. Bimbette 是名詞，指因羨慕成功的人也夢(mèng)想成名，卻沒(méi)有別人的本領(lǐng)。Wannabe 是 want to be 的快說(shuō)。

3. sitting up there，wasting time 兩個(gè)雖都是現(xiàn)在分詞短語(yǔ)，但前者是有 be 的進(jìn)行式，后者是獨(dú)立的分詞短語(yǔ)，說(shuō)明sitting up there所為何事。二者語(yǔ)法性能不同，省去連接詞。

3. booth bimbo 展示會(huì)的女服務(wù)員

A. I’ve been in high tech since the early 1980s and have noticed that while the presence of booth bimbos1 is not as blatant or expansive as it was in the ’80s，they are still there.

1. on the mound 在投手的崗位上(稍高于球場(chǎng)內(nèi)野土地)。

2. barn 谷倉(cāng)，比一般獨(dú)棟住宅大約三倍，通常漆成紅色。
