你不知道的plug短語(yǔ)

也許很多人都知道plug是“塞子”或者“插頭”，反正是塞住洞孔的東西。但是plug這個(gè)詞在俗語(yǔ)中還有一些別的意思，跟它的本意基本沒(méi)有關(guān)聯(lián)的。今天，我們就來(lái)看看其中的三個(gè)表達(dá)。

1. plug something on TV 做電視廣告

我們都知道plug通?？梢灾鸽娋€插頭，動(dòng)詞詞組plug in意思一定是“插進(jìn)插頭”。電器一插上了插頭就接通了電源，也就能發(fā)揮作用了。然而plug in常常隱含更深的意思，可以轉(zhuǎn)用來(lái)說(shuō)人，多用be plugged in to的形式出現(xiàn)，表示“和權(quán)貴/高層關(guān)系密切并熟知內(nèi)情”。
