My family wanted to do something to honor my son who had been sent to Iraq. With the help of my four-year-old grandson,I tied a yellow ribbon on the tree in my front yard.
"Why are we doing this,Grandma" he asked.
"It's for your uncle," I said.
He remarked quietly,"A tree's not much of a present."
