China will seek to build a climate-resilient society by 2035 with significant improvements in its ability to adapt to climate change, according to the national climate change adaptation strategy jointly released by 17 departments including the Ministry of Ecology and Environment. By 2035, the country's climate change monitoring and early warning capability will reach an advanced level globally, while the climate risk management and prevention system will have matured. China will also take measures to prevent and control major climate-related disaster risks in an effective manner, and further improve the technical and standard system for adapting to climate change.
生態(tài)環(huán)境部等17部門近日聯(lián)合印發(fā)了《國家適應(yīng)氣候變化戰(zhàn)略2035》,提出到2035年,氣候變化監(jiān)測預(yù)警能力要達(dá)到同期國際先進(jìn)水平,氣候風(fēng)險管理和防范體系基本成熟,重特大氣候相關(guān)災(zāi)害風(fēng)險得到有效防控,適應(yīng)氣候變化的技術(shù)體系和標(biāo)準(zhǔn)體系更加完善,全社會適應(yīng)氣候變化能力顯著提升,氣候適應(yīng)型社會基本建成。
