巴赫成功連任IOC主席

Thomas Bach proposed that "together" be added to the Olympic slogan of "faster, higher, stronger" after being re-elected as president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) during the virtual 137th IOC Session on Wednesday.
國(guó)際奧委會(huì)第137次全會(huì)3月10日以視頻會(huì)議的形式召開(kāi)，國(guó)際奧委會(huì)主席巴赫在主席選舉中成功連任。之后他建議在奧林匹克格言“更快、更高、更強(qiáng)”后面，再加入一個(gè)詞“together”（意為“在一起、攜手或共同”）。

In his acceptance speech addressing IOC members, Bach said: "We learned during this coronavirus crisis, the hard way, that we can live up to our Olympic slogan 'faster, higher, stronger', in sports and in life, only if we are working together in solidarity. The world is so interdependent that nobody can solve the real big challenges alone anymore."
巴赫在向國(guó)際奧委會(huì)成員發(fā)表連任致辭時(shí)說(shuō)：“我們?cè)谶@場(chǎng)新冠危機(jī)中艱難地認(rèn)識(shí)到，只有團(tuán)結(jié)一致，才能在體育和生活中踐行我們的奧運(yùn)口號(hào)‘更快、更高、更強(qiáng)’。當(dāng)今世界彼此依靠，單靠個(gè)體已經(jīng)無(wú)法應(yīng)對(duì)巨大的挑戰(zhàn)。”

"There is no doubt the opening ceremony (of Tokyo 2020) will take place on July 23," Bach reiterated in his opening remarks.
巴赫還重申：“毫無(wú)疑問(wèn)，東京奧運(yùn)會(huì)的開(kāi)幕式將于7月23日舉行。”
