France Football has announced there will be no Ballon d'Or award ceremony in 2020.

《法國(guó)足球》雜志宣布，2020年將不會(huì)頒發(fā)金球獎(jiǎng)。

The award ceremony had been scheduled to take place as usual in December, where the best players in the game over the previous 12 months would be presented with the prestigious awards.

今年的金球獎(jiǎng)?lì)C獎(jiǎng)典禮原計(jì)劃同往年一樣在12月舉行，過(guò)去一年里足壇表現(xiàn)最佳的運(yùn)動(dòng)員將被授予這一榮譽(yù)獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)。

France Football said in a statement that the prize will not be awarded this year for the first time since it was launched in 1956 due to the 2019-20 season being disrupted by the novel coronavirus pandemic.
