Anyang, a city in Central China's Henan Province, is famous for holding an annual air sports event that started in 2009. It has been dubbed the "air sports capital" of China.

安陽(yáng)，中國(guó)中部河南省的一個(gè)城市，2009年開(kāi)始舉辦航空運(yùn)動(dòng)文化旅游節(jié)，被譽(yù)為中國(guó)“航空運(yùn)動(dòng)之都”。

This year's event kicked off on June 3 with aviation enthusiasts from around the world staging thrilling performances at the opening ceremony.

今年的航空節(jié)于6月3日拉開(kāi)帷幕，來(lái)自世界各地的航空愛(ài)好者在開(kāi)幕式上進(jìn)行了精彩的表演。

A total of 15 aerobatic aircraft, six R-22 helicopters, 10 hot air balloons, 30 powered parachute groups and 20 drones took part in the performance.

共有15架特技飛機(jī)、6架R-22直升機(jī)、10個(gè)熱氣球、30個(gè)動(dòng)力降落傘組和20架無(wú)人機(jī)參加了表演。

Air sports is a general term that covers a range of aerial sporting activities, including aerobatics, aeromodeling, ballooning and drone racing.

空中運(yùn)動(dòng)是一個(gè)涵蓋了一系列空中運(yùn)動(dòng)活動(dòng)的總稱，包括特技飛行、駕駛飛機(jī)、熱氣球和無(wú)人機(jī)競(jìng)賽。

Anyang has many advantages for developing its aviation industry. It has a national industrial zone for general aviation, and 4,420 square kilometers of flying area below 3,000 meters, which is suitable for flying all kinds of air vehicles.

Anyang also has the largest training base for air sports and aeroclub in China.

安陽(yáng)還有中國(guó)最大的航空運(yùn)動(dòng)和航空俱樂(lè)部訓(xùn)練基地。

Experts said air sports has enjoyed rapid development in China in recent years, but also admitted that there are some challenges for its future development.

專家表示，近年來(lái)，中國(guó)的航空運(yùn)動(dòng)發(fā)展迅速，但也承認(rèn)未來(lái)的發(fā)展存在一些挑戰(zhàn)。

The shortage of general aviation aerodromes remains one big problem. Some aviation enthusiasts have to go to the US for training, which is more expensive. The weakness of the domestic general aviation industry also hinders the manufacturing of aviation products.

通用航空機(jī)場(chǎng)的短缺仍然是一個(gè)大問(wèn)題。一些航空愛(ài)好者不得不去美國(guó)接受培訓(xùn)，這是比較昂貴的。國(guó)內(nèi)通用航空工業(yè)的薄弱環(huán)節(jié)也阻礙了航空產(chǎn)品的生產(chǎn)。

Authorities in China have taken efforts to boost the industry, including building more bases for aerobats.
