中國空間站核心艙首次公開亮相

A full-size model of the core module of China's space station, Tianhe, made its debut last Tuesday at the 12th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China) in Zhuhai, Guangdong province.

上周二，中國空間站“天和”號核心艙全尺寸模型在廣東珠海舉行的第12屆中國國際航空航天博覽會上首次亮相。

The main purpose of the core module is the unified control and management of the station.

該核心艙主要用于對空間站的統(tǒng)一控制和管理。

It will have autonomous flight capability, supportthe astronauts' long-time stay in outer space and help them conduct experiments concerningaerospace medicine and space science.

它具備自主飛行能力，能夠支持宇航員長時間駐留外太空，并幫助他們開展航天醫(yī)學和空間科學實驗。

The space station will consist of a core module and two experimental modules, each weighing about 20 tons. It will accommodate three to six astronauts.

我國空間站將由一個核心艙和兩個實驗艙組成，每個艙段重約20噸，可容納3-6名宇航員。

The designed lifespan of the space station is no less than 10 years, which can be extended by maintenance and repair work.

設計壽命不小于10年，具有通過維護維修延長使用壽命的能力。

The in-orbit construction of the space station is expected to be completed around 2022. It will be the country's space lab in long-term, stable, in-orbit operation.

該空間站將于2022年前后完成在軌建造。它將成為我國長期在軌穩(wěn)定運行的國家太空實驗室。
