騰訊市值突破5000億美元 超過(guò)臉書(shū)成為全球第五

騰訊控股21日再次大漲，市值約合5288億美元，超越臉書(shū)成為全球市值第五大的公司，僅次于蘋(píng)果、谷歌、微軟和亞馬遜。半年前，大家還在津津樂(lè)道騰訊阿里誰(shuí)將率先拿下5000億市值大關(guān)，如今騰訊已經(jīng)成功超車(chē)阿里，并且一路猛升。

Tencent, the Chinese internet giant behind the WeChat messaging app, has surpassed Facebook in value after it became the first company in China to be worth more than $500 billion.

日前，騰訊公司市值超越臉書(shū)公司,成為中國(guó)首個(gè)市值超過(guò)5000億美元的公司，旗下產(chǎn)品有微信消息應(yīng)用程序。

The company's share price rose 2.4 percent on Tuesday in Hong Kong to leapfrog Facebook and become the world's fifth-most valuable listed company, disrupting the hegemony of the US tech behemoths.

The WeChat messaging app has around 500 million users in China, and almost 1 billion in total. Unlike most messaging apps in the West, it is far more than a mere communications service, but acts as a "portal" for thousands of different products, from payments to customer service.

中國(guó)微信用戶有大約5億人，全球用戶接近10億人。和西方大多數(shù)消息應(yīng)用程序不同，微信不僅僅是一個(gè)交流工具，還是數(shù)千種不同產(chǎn)品的入口，涵蓋了從支付到客戶服務(wù)等多方面。

Tencent is also a huge player in mobile games, owning Clash of Clans maker Supercell and the smash hit Honour of Kings. It also owns large stakes in Snapchat, Chinese online retailer JD.com and taxi-hailing app Didi, as well as having China's most popular video website.

The company also has a stake in ride-sharing app Lyft and electric-vehicle maker Tesla.

Shares have more than doubled this year, making Tencent Asia's most valuable company. It is the first Asian firm to surpass a market value of $500 billion.

It is also expected to bring its hugely popular multiplayer game Honour of Kings to the United States.

The magazine valued him at $48.3 billion on Tuesday, making him the world's ninth richest man according to its ranking.
