輝煌中國(guó)，成就輝煌

A documentary has chronicled China`s economic and social progress over the past five years, as the world`s second largest economy is gearing up for a key Party congress this month.

就在全球第二大經(jīng)濟(jì)體即將于本月召開一次重要的黨代會(huì)之際，一部紀(jì)錄片記錄下了過(guò)去五年中國(guó)在經(jīng)濟(jì)和社會(huì)發(fā)展上取得的成就。

A six-episode series "Amazing China" highlights innovation, coordination, greening, opening up and inclusiveness since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in 2012.

這部六集紀(jì)錄片名為《輝煌中國(guó)》，突出呈現(xiàn)了自2012年十八大召開以來(lái)的創(chuàng)新、協(xié)調(diào)、綠色、開放以及共享的發(fā)展理念。

The first two episodes that have been aired focused on infrastructure -- bridges, expressways, high speed rail -- and new ideas such as shared bikes, mobile payments and aerospace technology.

已播出的前兩集關(guān)注的是基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施方面——橋梁、高速公路、高速鐵路——以及共享單車、移動(dòng)支付和航天技術(shù)等新觀念。

"People have felt the benefit of the progress," said Shen Yi, deputy director of Fudan University cyberspace governance study center.

“人們已經(jīng)感受到了這些成就所帶來(lái)的好處，”復(fù)旦大學(xué)網(wǎng)絡(luò)空間治理研究中心副主任沈逸表示。

The 19th CPC National Congress will be held this month.

黨的十九大將于本月召開。

Over the past five years, despite a global economic slowdown, China`s economy is stable and has seen an average annual GDP growth of 7.2 percent from 2013 to 2016.

在過(guò)去的五年中，盡管全球經(jīng)濟(jì)增長(zhǎng)放緩，但中國(guó)的經(jīng)濟(jì)卻一直保持穩(wěn)定。2013-2016年，中國(guó)的年均GDP增速為7.2%。

Now, China has the world`s longest sea bridge, the largest 4G network, the longest highway network and the longest high-speed rail network.

如今，中國(guó)擁有世界上最長(zhǎng)的跨海大橋、最大的4G網(wǎng)絡(luò)、最長(zhǎng)的公路網(wǎng)和高鐵網(wǎng)。

The mileage of the high-speed rail totals 22,000 kilometers, exceeding the other top ten countries combined. Nearly 60 percent of the network was built in the past five years.

我國(guó)高鐵里程達(dá)22000公里，超過(guò)了高鐵里程數(shù)世界前十的其余國(guó)家之和。大約有60%的鐵路網(wǎng)都是在過(guò)去五年間建成的。

For Tian Guangdong, head of an entrepreneurship park, the documentary filled him with new ideas.

對(duì)于某創(chuàng)意園區(qū)負(fù)責(zé)人田廣東而言，這部紀(jì)錄片給他帶來(lái)了新理念。

"I found philosophies in the second episode that could be applied to our projects," he said.

“我發(fā)現(xiàn)第二集中的思想能夠應(yīng)用在我們的項(xiàng)目上，”他說(shuō)道。

Over the past five years, Chinese leaders have underscored the significance of innovation for the country`s science and technology development.

在過(guò)去的五年間，我國(guó)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人強(qiáng)調(diào)了國(guó)家科技發(fā)展創(chuàng)新的重要性。

"The support of the government for innovation is heartily welcomed, breeding a burst of entrepreneurship among the public," said Shen.

“政府對(duì)于創(chuàng)新的支持受到了熱烈歡迎，在公眾中萌發(fā)了一股企業(yè)家精神，”沈逸表示。

The documentary said China sold around 90,000 industrial robots last year and has become a leader in supercomputers, aerospace, maritime engineering, logistics and mobile payments.

紀(jì)錄片中講到，我國(guó)去年售出了約90000個(gè)工業(yè)機(jī)器人，成為了在超級(jí)計(jì)算機(jī)、航空航天、海事工程、物流以及移動(dòng)支付方面的領(lǐng)跑者。

Over 2.65 million overseas students had returned to China by the end of 2016, 70 percenter since the 18th CPC National Congress, according to the documentary. These returnees will be a mainstay to fulfilling the Party`s two centennial goal.

根據(jù)紀(jì)錄片中的數(shù)據(jù)，截至2016年底，我國(guó)留學(xué)回國(guó)人數(shù)超過(guò)265萬(wàn)，其中70%的人都是十八大以后歸國(guó)的。這些歸國(guó)留學(xué)生將成為實(shí)現(xiàn)黨的“兩個(gè)一百年”奮斗目標(biāo)的主力。

"The documentary shows the Party`s determination to achieve those goals and public confidence in the Party," said Shen.

“這部紀(jì)錄片展現(xiàn)了黨實(shí)現(xiàn)這些奮斗目標(biāo)的決心以及黨的公信力，”沈逸說(shuō)道。
