我國(guó)首座國(guó)家基因庫(kù)在深圳啟動(dòng)試運(yùn)行

　　The first national gene bank, built by China's generesearch giant BGI, started trial operation lastSaturday in Shenzhen.

　　我國(guó)首個(gè)國(guó)家級(jí)基因庫(kù)上周六在深圳投入試運(yùn)行。該基因庫(kù)由國(guó)內(nèi)基因研究巨頭華大基因建設(shè)。

　　Wang Jian, chairman of the company, said the genebank has a collection of 10m samples of biologicalresources. The project is expected to boostresearch and business in fields of health, agriculture,diverse species and environmental protection.

　　據(jù)華大基因董事長(zhǎng)汪建介紹，該基因庫(kù)已存儲(chǔ)生物資源樣本1000萬(wàn)份。該項(xiàng)目將推動(dòng)健康、農(nóng)業(yè)、物種多樣性和環(huán)保等領(lǐng)域的研究和業(yè)務(wù)。

　　Approved by the National Development and Reform Commission in 2011, the facility isdedicated to storing and managing the country's unique genetic resources and data, as wellas biological information.

　　該基因庫(kù)于2011年由國(guó)家發(fā)改委批復(fù)，用于儲(chǔ)存和管理我國(guó)特殊的基因資源、數(shù)據(jù)和生物信息。

　　Wang said the company also plans to set up a national laboratory on genomics.

　　汪建稱，該公司還計(jì)劃建立一座國(guó)家級(jí)的基因組學(xué)實(shí)驗(yàn)室。

　　In addition, BGI announced on June 19th, 2016 that it, along with several institutionalinvestors, launched a startup incubator on application of gene technology.

　　同時(shí)，華大基因于2016年6月19日宣布，公司獲得一些機(jī)構(gòu)的投資，將正式啟動(dòng)基因技術(shù)應(yīng)用創(chuàng)投孵化平臺(tái)。

　　The company promised to open its technology platform and data to members of theincubator.

　　公司保證將向其他初創(chuàng)公司公開(kāi)科技平臺(tái)和數(shù)據(jù)。
