In March, French prosecutors investigatingcorruption in athletics widened their scope toinclude the bidding and voting processes for thehosting of the 2016 and 2020 Olympics. The Britishnewspaper says French police are believed to bestudying the allegation.
在今年3月份,法國檢察機關將其針對田徑領域腐敗現(xiàn)象調查的范圍擴大到了2016年和2020年奧運會主辦國的競標和投票階段。據(jù)《衛(wèi)報》表示,法國警察正在對此進行調查。
In a statement, the IOC said it had been "in contact with the French magistrates in charge ofthe investigation on the IAAF case, and with Wada, since its start".

A first alleged payment in July 2013 and a second one three months later were made underthe title of "Tokyo 2020 Olympic Game Bid" from a Japanese bank account to a Singaporeaccount held by Black Tidings, the French financial prosecutor's office said in a statement.Black Tidings is reported to have links to Papa Massata Diack, son of Lamine Diack.

Wada's independent commission said it did not investigate the claims "for it was not withinour remit".
