Relief may finally be in sight for a water-logged Northeast. A low-pressure system that has brought inches of rain to the region may finally be moving out. The rain has flooded streets and knocked down power to nearly a half million. At least nine people have died in storm-related accidents.
Haiti's government and business community are finalizing details on a reconstruction plan that could cost $14 billion. The Inter-American Development Bank estimates Haiti's total damage from Januray's quake to be between 8 and 13 billion.
An insurance executive who secretly shot nude hotel videos of ESPN reporter Erin Andrews has been sentenced to 27 months in prison. Michael Barrett pleaded guilty to interstate stalking in December. Andrews says she is saddened by the court's decision and was hoping Barrett would get more time behind bars.
The estate of Michael Jackson has landed the late King of Pop the biggest recording deal in history. Sony Music Entertainment will pay $200 million for 10 projects over the next seven years. As part of the deal, never-before-released recordings will come out in November.
