英語(yǔ)諺語(yǔ)中的性別歧視——性格弱點(diǎn)具體表現(xiàn)

　　英語(yǔ)中有許多諺語(yǔ)體現(xiàn)了女性性格弱點(diǎn)以及傳統(tǒng)意義上對(duì)女性的要求，下面就從這個(gè)方面舉例予以說(shuō)明。

　　(1)女人是脆弱的

　　Frailty , thy name is woman.

　　(脆弱啊，你的名字是女人。)

　　Woman is made to weep. (女人生性愛(ài)流淚。)

　　A woman and a glass are ever in danger. (女人易毀，玻璃易碎。)

　　A woman is the weaker vessel. (女人是易碎的器皿。)
