       老鷹樂(lè)隊(duì)(eagles)是崛起在70年代初期具有廣泛影響力的搖滾樂(lè)隊(duì)；1976年是eagles最為輝煌的一年,年底推出的第五張專(zhuān)輯hotel california；并被譽(yù)為70年代美國(guó)最重要的專(zhuān)輯。
       在這張專(zhuān)輯里,"eagles"以一種極為頹廢曖昧的方式反映了70年代美國(guó)世風(fēng)日下，混沌與散漫的社會(huì)風(fēng)氣".這首同名單曲Hotel california，更是eagles的一部完美之作,其詭異莫名的歌詞感人心弦的旋律,幾乎把上世紀(jì)70年代所有的憂(yōu)傷與迷惘卷攜殆盡。
       Hotel california自面世開(kāi)始，立即就引來(lái)很多的質(zhì)疑與批評(píng)。許多人都不能理解歌詞后段撲朔迷離的場(chǎng)面在昭示什么。
