The world has been plagued by the COVID-19 epidemic for months. At the Global Think Tanks Online Forum on International Cooperation to Combat COVID-19 held from June 9 to 10， Ban Ki-moon， former secretary general of the United Nations， said that President Xi Jinpings proposal to promote global cooperation in combatting COVID-19 was visionary. In the face of the pandemic， all countries should adhere to building a community with a shared future for mankind and work together to contain the pandemic.

As of March 2， 62 countries and seven international organizations had donated masks， protective suits， and other urgently needed materials to China. After keeping the epidemic in control， China has also shared its experience with other countries candidly and provided medical assistance to the international community. Some video conferences on epidemic control initiated by China have been held， connecting health experts from more than 170 countries to share experience and expertis. It was the largest global humanitarian emergency action China has taken since 1949.

Global challenges demand worldwide cooperation. Only through mutual assistance and solidarity can the international community achieve ultimate victory in the fight against COVID-19.
