Sometimes we spend a lot of time and money on cosmetics hoping to have beautiful skin, forgetting that drinking enough water is the simplest way to have healthy skin from the inside.

Our skin is the organ with the largest surface in our body, made up of mostly water. Every day, our bodies release large amounts of water through the excretory system. If you lack water, or don’t compensate for the necessary amount of water for the body, your skin will become dry and chapped.

So how much water do we need to drink every day? On average, the body needs about 2.5 liters of water per day. However, in reality, each person has different water needs, depending on their body weight, height, age or level of daily activity as well as the environment’s temperature.

According to health experts, to ensure enough water for the body, we should not wait until we feel thirsty to drink because then the body is already dehydrated. In addition, it is recommended to take small sips and drink regularly during the day. Ideally, we should always carry a water bottle with us to avoid dehydration.
