Results showed that babies whose mothers ate almonds during pregnancy scored higher on IQ tests.

On the other hand, soaking almonds overnight and removing the skins may help reduce their tannin levels. According to some rumors, if eating almonds in large quantities, tannins may prevent the absorption of nutrients, but recent studies have found no evidence to support this.
