我想，人的心靈總是在成長(zhǎng)的

貝多芬曾經(jīng)說(shuō)過(guò)，卓越的人一大優(yōu)點(diǎn)是：在不利與艱難的遭遇里百折不饒。這句話語(yǔ)雖然很短，但令我浮想聯(lián)翩。

I awoke one morning this week,

這周的一個(gè)早晨，我起床時(shí)感覺(jué)身體不適

feeling sore and tired,

我四肢酸痛，疲累不堪

after a week and a half of battling caterpillars

因?yàn)檎恢馨氲臅r(shí)間，我都在跟毛毛蟲較量

that were trying to destroy our beautiful trees.

Hours spent spraying the trees

and then rinsing them afterwards,

began to take it's toll on my spirits and my muscles.

I didn't think that I could love my husband more than I do now,

I proceeded to battle the invaders for another day.
