A: Thank you for taking the time to meet with me today. I really wanted to speak with you about Owens behavior in class and his grades.

B: Thank you for reaching out to schedule this meeting, I've been meaning to contact you as well. I was definitely not pleased when I saw Owen's last report card.

A: Yes, I think he's capable of doing so much better in my class.

A: Well, actually, this is one of the biggest reasons I wanted to speak with you. Owens classroom behavior has really been a problem, he doesn't pay attention when I'm teaching, and he often tries to distract his classmates. I try to separate him from his friends, but then he just yells across the room at them. I ask him to stop yelling and this
usually gets him to calm down for a few minutes, he becomes a little more focused and less talkative.

B: I think that is a great idea, he loves recess.

A: That's true.
